The Kabaddi Themed Manga Series, Burning Kabaddi, was confirmed for an Anime Adaptation back in July of 2020. Recently on the official website of the anime, more information regarding the Cast, Staff, and Release Schedule for the Anime Adaptation has been disclosed. This new sports anime has been really popular recently with It’s new and original concept along with the stunning visuals provided in the Trailer.
Written and illustrated by Hajime Musashino, Burning Kabaddi, is a Japanese Sports Manga Series that was serialized in Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday Website and MangaONE app back in December of 2015. It has released a total of 14 volumes since then and is still ongoing.
Burning Kabaddi – What’s it About?
The Story follows the life of a High School boy named Tatsuya Yoigoshi, who used to be an ace soccer player but has now come to dislike sports. After receiving an invite to the Kabaddi Club, he was surprised while also being extremely dismissive of the idea of joining it. However, Tatsuya had a change of heart and decided to at least take a look at the practice session before completely shunning the idea and after taking a look at the intensity of the practice he was amazed. Tatsuya decides to take part in this high contact sport of Kabaddi and see how far he can go with it.
Burning Kabaddi Release Date
On the 5th of October, the main cast as well as Staff Members for the anime Adaptation were announced. The trailer for the anime is also made available on the official website of the anime, along with all the latest information regarding the anime. The Anime Adaptation is set to premiere in April of 2021.
The Anime Adaptation of Burning Kabaddi will be handled by TMS Entertainment and will be directed by Kazuya Ichikawa. The Script for the series will be written by Yuuko Kakihara along with Midori Gotou and the Character Designs will be taken care of by Mari Takada.

Yūma Uchida
He will be voicing the character of Tatsuya Yoigoshi from “Burning Kabaddi”. He is also known for voicing the character of Iori Kitahara from “Grand Blue”.
Nobuhiko Okamoto
He will be voicing the character of Masato Oujou from “Burning Kabaddi”. He is also known for voicing the character of Katsuki Bakugō from “My Hero Academia”.
