The South Korean boy group BTS is at it again. The seven boys are moving forward and achieving new wins every other day. And, now they have entered the top 10 of Billboard’s Radio Airplay. BTS stands at no.9 with their record-breaking first English-single ‘Dynamite.’ Earlier, the song was at the 11th spot, but, after the revised data from Billboard, it is now in the top 10. BTS released Dynamite on 21st August, and ever since, they are enjoying the outcome of their hard work.
Apart from the Radio Airplay, Dynamite also enjoyed its position on the Billboard Top 100, where it stood at #1 rank for two weeks straight. Currently, it is in the second position on the Billboard Global 200.
Dynamite is said to be BTS sixth album/song getting recognition on the pop songs list. The boys earlier stood at no.22 with their song ‘Boy With Luv’ featuring Halsey. They were first seen on the charts in 2017, with their song ‘Mic Drop’ featuring Desiigner.
BTS Breaks PSY’s Record
It isn’t surprising when BTS breaks records; the fans and the public are now very acquainted with these kinds of news. So, here we go again. BTS has now broken the record of fellow Korean artists, PSY, who stood at no. 10 with his act ‘Gangnam Style’ in 2012. And the group has now earned the 9th spot.
Dynamite was released on 21st August 2020, on BigHit Entertainment/Columbia Records. According to the survey, the song now ascends a 6% gain, which includes the total weekly plays. This data is tabulated by Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
The song was a huge hit as soon as it was released. It got a whopping 101 million views in the first 24 hours on Youtube and also earned a spot on Billboard Hot 100, including spot #1. It is the band’s first all English song, which has a very fun and cheery vibe to it. The fans connected to the song immediately, as it helped them to feel positive amidst these tough times.
BTS’s New Album
BTS are ready to give their fans (Armys) another gift very soon. Their new album will be releasing on 20th November and is titled ‘BE.’ The group has also revealed the title of their song from ‘BE.’ The song is called ‘Life Goes On,’ and the band will also perform it at the American Music Awards alongside their hit ‘Dynamite’ on 22nd November. The fans are already going gaga over the news, and honestly, we can’t wait either.
