On 13th of September 2020, the Official Twitter Account of Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! announced that the 4 panel Manga Series will be receiving an Anime Adaptation. The Manga was made by Hori and is set to premiere in January of 2021 as short animation work. The Manga series is inspired from a mobile game “Azur Lane”, which is a side scrolling shoot ’em up game available for both iOS and Android for free.

The game Azur Lane was released back in 2017 by Chinese developers Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi. The mobile game instantly became a hit because of the amazing illustrations and Cute female characters along with a wide variety of other gameplay elements like being able to Marry in-game characters and customizing your own house in the game.
The Anime Adaptation of Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! will be handled jointly by Studio CANDY BOX and Yostar Pictures. The Director for the series will be Masato Jinbo, while the Script will be penned down by Yuu Satou and the Character Designs will be taken care of by Hiromitsu Hagiwara.
The Cast Announced for The Anime Include:
Nozomi Yamane (Known for voicing the role of Kureha Tsubaki from Yuri Kuma Arashi) who will be voicing the character of Javelin.
Yō Taichi (Known for voicing the role of Anzu Yokoyama from Prison School) who will be voicing the character of Ayanami.
Maria Naganawa (Known for voicing the role of Kanna Kamui from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) who will be voicing the character of Laffey.
Rika Abe (Known for voicing the role of Hresvelgr from Frame Arms Girl) who will be voicing the character of Z23.
Back in September of 2018, the Original Anime Series for the mobile game “Azur Lane” was announced and as a result, the series premiered in October of 2019 on Tokyo MX and other platforms. The series ran for a total of 12 episodes and was handled by Bibury Animation Studio with it being Directed by Tensho. The Script for the show was written by Jin Haganeya and was streamed on Funimation.
