All of Us are dead is a South Korean tv show that is based on a webtoon by the name Now at Our School, which is by Joo Dong-Geun. It is a very popular webtoon, and for that reason, Netflix announced a tv adaptation of the webtoon. The show was handled by Film Monster by JTBC Studios and Kim Jong-Hak Production. It was directed by Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su. On the other hand, Chun Sung-il was the writer of All of us are dead. The show was released on Netflix in January of 2022 to critical acclaim and was loved by the audience.

The show’s events begin after a failed science experiment which becomes the reason for the local high school to get overrun by zombies with students trapped inside it. They now have to survive this ordeal with food or water, and even the communication with the government has been cut off. To survive, they use all the different things around the school to protect themselves from these horrendous creatures that want to eat them. If they fail, they will die and join the horde as an infected.
The story of the second season hasn’t been revealed yet, but the director of the show Lee Jae-kyoo said in an interview with The Korea Herald that he intentionally left the ending of the first season open-ended. This was because he wanted to keep it like that for a second season. He said that the directions, settings as well as scenes were purposely produced in such a way that they would serve as the foundation for the second season of it ever happening.

The cast of the second season will most likely consist of the stars from the first season like Park Ji-hu as Nam On-jo, Lomon as Lee Su-hyeok, Yoo In-soo as Yoon Gwi-Nam, Lee Yoo-mi as Lee Na-Yeon, Jeon Bae-soo as Nam So-ju, Im Jae-hyuk as Yang Dae-su, Ahn Seung-gyun as Oh Joon-Yeong and many more. These people will most likely be reprising their roles, and it is really up to the writer to see what they will do with the characters as well as introduce new characters.

But there has been a leak going around the internet that suggests that a second season is coming. This leak comes from Small-screen.co.uk, which has been told by their sources that a second season of the show is in the works at Netflix. As for the release date, the second season of the show will most likely be released on January 2023.
