Alice in Borderland is a tv series that is based on the manga that is based on the manga that is of the same name which is written and illustrated by Haro Aso. The Tv show was first announced in 2019 and the production for the show was handled by Robot Communications Inc. It aired on Netflix and upon its release, it was met with positive reviews by the critics and the same could be said for the audience as they loved every single bit of it. Both the critics and the audience loved the cinematography, visuals, and editing, and most of all the performances of the actors were praised as they delivered some of the most amazing acting seen in a TV series.
The premise of the show is similar to its manga counterparts which follow the story of the Arisu, Karube, and Chōta, these three are high school students that are extremely bored with the life they live. But this is about to change as during a firework celebration, one of the students Arisu makes a wish which was that he wanted to live in a different world that would be more exciting than the world that he lives in. What happens next changes his life forever as his wish gets granted and all three of them are transported to a world that is similar to a post-apocalyptic world.

They without any hesitation step into an empty festival and they are then greeted by a peculiar woman who informs them that they have entered their game. When the trio overcomes the challenges of the game and clears them, it is unveiled that this place is called the Borderland and they must play these games to survive. This is a very interesting premise that has captivated the minds of many people so much so that it was viewed in 18 million households which is quite impressive. The success of the show can also be credited to the production crew that provided such a realistic environment that immersed the viewers.
The popularity of the show was so much that two weeks after the release of the first season, it was renewed for a second season. The filming for the show had already begun and the production was completed in March 2022. As for the cast, it will consist of Kento Yamazaki as Ryōhei Arisu, Tao Tsuchiya as Yuzuha Usagi, Yūki Morinaga as Chōta Segawa, Keita Machida as Daikichi Karube, and many more.
Alice in Borderland Season 2 Release Date
As for the release date, unfortunately, there hasn’t been a release date for the second season of Alice in Borderland but we might be getting it by the end of this year.
