Alice In Borderland Manga Series To Premiere A Live Action Film

Haro Aso’s Japanese Manga Series, Alice In Borderland, has inspired a Live Action Film which is set to Premiere on December 10th 2020 in a total of 190 countries worldwide. The debut date for the suspense thriller themed Movie was disclosed on Saturday and a video announcing the date was also released.

 

The Live Action Film of, Alice In Borderland, will be handled by Netflix and the Director for the movie is Shinsuke Satō. The Script for the film is being written by Yoshiki Watabe and Yasuko Kuramitsu. ROBOT is credited with the planning and production of the film.

The Cast for the Live Action Film Announced Include:

Kento Yamazaki (Best known for his role as L in the Live Action Television Series Adaptation of the Death Note Manga) will be playing the role of Ryōhei Arisu.

Tao Tsuchiya (Best known for starring in the Live Action Film of “Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun” as the lead heroine Shizuku Mizutani) will be playing the role of Yuzuha Usagi.

Nijiro Murakami (Best known for his role in the Movie “The Miracles of the Namiya General Store” as Shota Kobayashi) will be playing the role of Mysterious Cheshire.

Yūki Morinaga (Best known for his role in the Movie “Little Love Song” as Kōtarō Ikehara) will be playing the role of Chōta.

About The Manga | Alice In Borderland

Written and illustrated by Haro Aso, Alice In Borderland, was a Japanese Manga Series is a Thriller Suspense Shōnen that began it’s serialisation in Shogakukan’s Shōnen Sunday S back in November of 2010 and was later shifted to Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen in April of 2015. The Manga series finally came to an end in March of 2016 and has released a total of 18 volumes. 

The story follows the life of a highschool student, Ryōhei Arisu, who is a delinquent but he is sick and tired of his daily life. Arisu along with his delinquent friends decide to go to the firework celebration and while being there Arisu wishes that life become more and more exciting for him. As soon as he wished this, Arisu along with his two friends Karube and Segawa were transported into a post-apocalyptic-like parallel world. In this new world which seems empty and abandoned, where they are greeted by a woman who tells them that they are in a survival game which is set in Borderland.
