365 Days was a polish movie that blew up on Netflix, and it becomes the third most viewed item on the streaming platform. The movie was based on a novel named the first novel of a trilogy whose author is Blanka Lipińska. The first movie was extremely popular, and because of that, a sequel was announced. Even tho the movie was popular, it was received extremely negatively by the critics for the excessive use of sex scenes as well as sexual violence, which many drew a comparison to another popular movie named Fifty Shades.
The sequel is titled 365 Days: This day which is been directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes. The screenplay is been written by Tomasz Klimala, Barbara Białowąs, Tomasz Mandes, and Blanka Lipińska. The production of the film was scheduled to begin in 2020 in Sicily and Poland, but due to the Covid 19, it was stopped to prevent the loss of any life. The filming for the movie finally began in May of 2021, and the film’s shooting took place in Italy and Poland. And afterward, the cast members of the movie were also revealed at that point.

At first, the story revolves around Massimo Torricelli, who is a young boss of a Sicilian Mafia family. He becomes the head of this family after his father was assassinated. On the other hand, Laura serves as sales director in a luxurious hotel that resides in Warsaw. She is successful in life, but her personal life is in shambles because of her boyfriend. She then wants to give him another chance to save this relationship by taking a trip to Sicily. Unfortunately, she is kidnapped by the most dangerous man on the island named Massimo, who gives her 365 days to fall in love with him.
The second movie’s plot is based on the second novel of the trilogy named This Day. As for the plot of the second movie, Laura and Massimo make their return in this movie, where will the connection of Massimo’s family. A mysterious man arrives in Laura’s life who wants to win her heart as well as her trust in any way possible. As for the cast it consists of Anna-Maria Sieklucka as Laura Biel, Magdalena Lamparska as Olga, Michele Morrone as Don Massimo Torricelli, Otar Saralidze as Domenico, Simone Susinna as Nacho, Ewa Kasprzyk, Dariusz Jakubowski, Ramón Langa, and Natasza Urbańska.
