He claimed to have agreed to three years of random drug testing at the request of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, which partners with his company SpaceX. According to Musk, the tests revealed “not even trace quantities” of any drugs or alcohol.
In the interview with Lemon, Musk emphasized that his ketamine prescription was doctor-approved and that he only took a small amount every other week. Despite the potential implications on his government contracts, clearances, and reputation on Wall Street, Musk seemed completely unfazed by his declaration.
