There’s No Cure for My Brother Being Around Me! – Season 4 Set To Premiere This Fall
The Fourth Anime Season Of "There's No Cure for My Brother Being Around Me!" Will Air In Japan On The 2nd Of October.
The Fourth Season of the popular Anime series, “There’s No Cure for My Brother Being Around Me!”, was announced on the 17th of June 2020. On Wednesday, Imagineer released two Promotional Videos, one 30 seconds long and another one was 60 seconds long. The anime is based off a Chinese Manhua (A Manhua to China is what a Manga is to Japan) called Kuài bǎ Wǒ Gē Dàizǒu by Yōu Líng, which is extremely popular in China as well as Japan.
The Anime Adaptation of the Comic, “There’s No Cure for My Brother Being Around Me!”, is being handled by Imagineer and Fanworks. The Director for the series Rarecho, who is also handling the scriptwriting for the Anime, and will be returning for its 4th Season installment.
The first season of the anime premiered in China on the Tencent Video platform before being released in Japan on Tokyo MX from April to June of 2017, and subsequently, Season 2 and Season 3 were streamed in a similar fashion from July to December of 2018 and October to December of 2019 respectively.
In addition to Tokyo MX, the anime will be streamed on multiple other streaming platforms in Japan. The cast and staff involved in the making of the 3 seasons of the Anime will be returning in order to make Season 4 of “There’s No Cure for My Brother Being Around Me!”. Yōu Líng’s manhua, “There’s No Cure for My Brother Being Around Me!”, has also been adapted into a Live-Action Adaptation which premiered on Netflix back in 2018.
About The Manhua | There’s No Cure for My Brother Being Around Me!
This Chinese Manhua was written and illustrated by Yōu Líng and was serialized in the Kuaikan Manhua back in January of 2016. Since then the Manhua hasn’t looked back and has been going strong, inspiring a total of 4 anime seasons and a Live-Action Adaptation.
The story is about a pair of siblings, Shi Miao (who is voiced by Sora Amamiya) and Shi Fen (who is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura), where Shi Miao is the violent younger sister who is her 3rd year of middle school and Shi Fen is the stupid and lazy elder brother who is in his 1st year of High School.
Manhua depicts the funny and stupid interactions between the siblings that happen on a regular basis, along with their interactions between their classmates. A complete story filled stupidity amongst siblings, hilarious failures in romantic interactions as well as plenty about food.
