Netflix’s Unnamed Thriller Norwegian Drama From Motion Blur To Be Helmed By The Karate Kid’s Harald Zwart.
The director of The Karate Kid and also, Pink Panther 2, Harald Zwart has struck a deal with the streaming giant, Netflix, again. The Norweigan-Dutch director will be taking the director’s chair for a six-part TV drama for Netflix. However, the title of the series is yet to be announced. Moreover, The show will be a thriller drama. Harald Zwart also expressed his thoughts while talking about his new unnamed project.
He said, that he is very excited to work on this original story with Netflix. He further talked about the cast and said they have young talented actors in their team who all embody the blend of Scandinavian mystique and dark humor.

What Will It Be About?
According to sources, the TV drama will express the story over six episodes. The cast includes Kathrine Thorborg Johansen (Live), Elias Holmsen Sørensen (Odd), Andrée Sørum (Reinert), Kim Fairchild (Judith), Sarah Khorami (Rose), and Terje Strømdahl (Arvid).
Live Hallangen is said to be dead, but, later, in the forensic room, her body wakes up with a sudden surge of blood. On the other hand Live’s brother, Odd is trying to suspend the funeral driven home. But, there are not enough people dying in this small Norwegian town of Skarnes. After Live realizes her newfound nature and existence, she thinks about helping her brother. And, now she has to learn to live with her dark personality. And make the decision of ruining people’s lives for her selfishness and for the survival of her family business.
The story is written by new and rising writer Petter Holmsen, and the production has just started in Skarnes, Norway.
The series will be out in 2021 and they have ordered the series from Scandinavian production company Motion Blur. Espen Horn, Hege Skjerven Clausen, and Kristian Strand Sinkerud will be the producers of the show who also produces, Troll and Cadaver on Netflix.
Tesha Crawford, Director of Nordic Original Series at Netflix also expressed her views. She said, that she and her team are very happy to embark on a new project with Motion Blur. She said that Peter has developed an amazing thriller story and they also trust Harald will do his magic while helming the project.
Zwart’s Old Work And Life
Harald Zwart was born in the Netherlands but grew up in Norway. The director has worked on some major Hollywood projects like The Karate Kid, Agent Cody Banks, and Pink Panther 2. And, we believe this new series will also be another hit from Zwart.
