NBC’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 To Return Back In 2021 – Sources Confirms!

Boink! There is a piece of good news for all the Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans. The show is confirmed to return with another season next year—cool cool cool cool. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American Tv series which is created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur. The show follows the lives of police officers and their daily lives in the precinct in Brooklyn, New York. The show has a huge fanbase, and it has already completed seven successful seasons. Previously, the show was telecasted on Fox Networks. But, after the fifth season, B99 got canceled. Although, it was soon picked up by NBC.

So, after waiting for the new season so long, it’s finally here. Jake Peralta and his fellow officers will be back next year. So, let’s go ahead and get to all the recent updates:

Confirmed 2021 Release!

The team of the show announced the news on social media with a very B99 friendly caption. They used Capt. Holt’s cheerful and positive voice to announce the big news. It tweet said, “*Capt. Holt voice* We’re in a state of total euphoria.”

However, we won’t be able to witness the show until 2021 at the earliest. Sadly, the show faced 2 delays in production. The first was due to the ongoing pandemic and second was due to the first four episodes of the new season being removed in the wake of the Black Live Matter movement. Considering these facts, B99 was removed from NBC’s autumn line-up as well. So, it looks like we have to wait a little more to watch our favorite detectives going back to work.

Amy Santiago, Stephanie Beatriz plays Det. Rosaaa (Doug Judy voice), Terry Crews play Lt. Terry. Also, Andre Braugher plays Capt. Raymond Holt on the show. Furthermore, Joe Lo Truglio plays Det. Charles Boyle, along with Dirk Blocker who plays Hitchcock and Joel McKinnon Miller, who plays Scully on the show. Chelsea Peretti, who was a series regular on the show till the sixth season, played the most infamous character Gina Linetti.
