‘Last Day In The Lucifer Writer’s Room’; Lucifer Writers Finish The Script For The Finale Season
Netflix’s fantasy drama is finally approaching its end. And, one more evidence is out to prove the news. American urban fantasy drama television series Lucifer is on its way to its finale. The writers of the show recently posted a picture of all of them bidding a sweet farewell. Lucifer has a huge fandom, and it was proved when the show was recommissioned by the streaming giant for one more part. Originally, Lucifer was supposed to end with season 5. However, Netflix ordered the series for another installment, which is currently in the filming stage.
Lucifer is an American tv series developed by Tom Kapinos for Fox. The series is based on a DC comics character, birthed by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg. Unfortunately, Fox canceled the show after three seasons due to low ratings. But, it was picked up by Netflix for a fourth season, which recieved a great response.
Now the show is up for another season, and as we know, the writing part is already done, let’s go ahead and get to know more about the finale:
Last Goodbye On Zoom
All of the 18 members who feature as the writing staff on the show blew a kiss goodbye to the fans in a picture posted by the showrunner Ildy Modrovich. Modrovich tweeted the picture and wrote, “Last day in the Lucifer Writer’s Room.” He continued and said that these people inspire him, and he can’t even explain it in words. He also said that this is when he feels super happy yet heartbreaking at the same time.
Earlier, co-showrunner Joe Henderson also teased some big drama coming up in the sixth season. He also mentioned extended episodes, which will help them to explain their story better.
Definitely, the writers must have written an interesting storyline for the fans this season as well. We just have to wait for a little more for the show to arrive.
Even though season 5 would be the end of the show, the fan’s love and efforts made season 6 possible. In February 2020, the creators of the show confirmed the news of the sixth season. Things were already done according to season 5 back then. So, the show also had some issues with Tom Ellis’s (Lucifer) contract. However, they were immediately fixed, and we are happy that it did because no one can play the devil better than Ellis.
After all the official documentation, both Warner Bros and Netflix officially put out the word for season 6. However, no release date is announced at the moment. We also expect the show to release next year, as it is still in its production stage.
The show stars, Tom Ellis as Lucifer, Lauren German as Chloe, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Maze, Rachael Harris as Linda Martin, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Kevin Alejandro as Dan Espinoza, Scarlett Estevez as Trixie Espinoza, and D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel.
