She later thanked all her beautiful fans and viewers who watched and supported the beautiful show. Moreover, she also gave us an insight into what season 2 could have been. She wrote that they were looking forward to showing us Mars and its lifestyle in the next season. “Until next time”, she wrote in the end.

Swank portrays commander Emma, who along with her international crew is all set for her crewed mission to Mars. The first season reflects on their journey of making it safely to Mars. The second season would have been very interesting, but, unfortunately, we won’t be able to witness it.

Critics Reviews

Ben Travers from Indie Wire explained why the show failed. He said the show is not strong enough to entertain people as they made it for a broad audience. Trevors also said how the show is not nerve-wracking and is unable to keep the viewers excited for what’s going to happen next. He later said how the show does not want to explore more about space and is actually a family drama.

Away has now joined the list of the ‘high profile shows’ Netflix canceled this year. earlier, this month, the streaming giant canceled the comedy-drama ‘Glow’. It was critically acclaimed and also had a huge fan base, but, somehow was dropped. Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj” and “I Am Not Okay With This” are also some of the show which Netflix canceled previously.

The ongoing pandemic is also a partial reason behind the cancellation and postponement of some shows. So, we wish things get better soon before another one of our favorites gets canceled.
