Initially set to premiere in theatres on the 19th of November 2020, Godzilla vs. Kong has been a project that had begun its formulation back in 2015. The movie was expected to be box office as both Godzilla and Kong have been iconic cultural figures, especially in the eastern countries. Due to the unexpected COVID-19 Pandemic, the Release of the Movie had to be postponed all the way to the 21st of May 2021. As of now, there are no plans for the Movie Series to continue, but that could easily change depending on how well Godzilla vs. Kong does. “Godzilla: The King Of Monsters” has done so-so; it didn’t go flop, but it didn’t really do that well either. So hopefully, if Godzilla vs. Kong does well, then we may be looking at a continuation. Judging from the hype that this movie is receiving, it isn’t too far fetched to say this installment might actually do extremely well.

This legendary Showdown between the two Titans to cap off the Monsterverse is being financed by Legendary Pictures. The Cast and Crew for the Movie have been announced, and Adam Wingard will be serving as the film’s director.

Some of the cast members such as Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, and Zhang Ziyi will be reprising their roles as Madison Russell, Mark Russell, and Dr. Illena Chen. Finally, as for the writers, Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein will be handling the screenplay while Terry Rossio, Micheal Dougherty, and Zach Shields handled the story.
