Chainsaw Man: What Is It About?

Written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Chainsaw Man is a Japanese Manga Series that made its debut back in 2018 and has concluded in December of 2020. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump and has been collected in 9 volumes.

For one, I absolutely loved the manga from start to finish, starting from its protagonist Denki all the way to the other significant side characters. All of them show considerable character development and break away from the cliched protagonist agendas, thus making it a fantastic read. So if you love reading manga and haven’t checked this one out yet, I’d highly recommend it.

Chainsaw Man Anime Adaptation: What Do We Know So Far?

The first time news regarding The Chainsaw Man Anime Adaptation reached our ears was back on the 13th December 2020. The news took over the Anime community like a storm as despite being listed as a shonen manga, the series features a lot of somewhat darker themes and disturbing scenes. Although this was a surprise, the fans were extremely happy about this announcement, especially after seeing the upcoming Anime’s new visual.

To add a cherry on top of the cake, the Studio that will be handling the anime adaptation is none other than Studio MAPPA. Basically, what this means is that we are definitely going to be in for a ride. MAPPA, already famous for successfully creating top-notch Anime this year alone with Attack’s release on Titan Season 4, God Of Highschool, and Jujutsu Kaisen, reassures that it will definitely do justice to the Chainsaw Man Anime adaptation.

The Chainsaw Man Anime Adaptation is expected to come out around November of 2021. This estimation is judging from how much time it took Studio MAPPA between the announcement of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Anime Adaptation and it’s Official Release.

Where Can We Watch The Anime?

For those of you wondering where the overseas fans will stream the Anime once it’s released, we have the answer for that. With the extent of hype behind the new Anime Series, there is no way Crunchyroll or Funimation is going to back down from making the Anime available for streaming on their separate services. Although no official news is out yet, it will most likely be available on both those services.
