ART Fair Philippines 2016 “promises an expanded and exciting lineup for its fourth edition”, according to its organizers.

Set for February 18-21, the premier platform for the best in Philippine contemporary art will welcome even more participants as it expands to another floor of The Link, the car park facility in Ayala Center, Makati, at the heart of the country’s financial hub.

Co-presented by Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Globe, Julius Baer, and Bench, the four-day fair  showcases the vibrant Filipino art scene with works from 40 top galleries from Metro Manila, Southeast Asia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The event is also backed by major sponsors such as Make It Makati, Ayala Land Premiere, and Volkswagen. The Raffles and Fairmont and the Holiday Inn and Suites serve as the fair’s Official Hotel Partners.  The fair’s food and beverage partners are Don Papa Rhum, Kai, and the Straits Wine Company, while the Philippine Star, Pipeline and Asian Lines, artprice.com, Art Bahrain are official media partners.

“To complement the gallery offerings, a curated section of solo presentations by critically and commercially successful artists will be installed throughout the two levels of the main fair,” the fair’s publicists say.  “A third level of the fair will be devoted to its educational component, ArtTalks@artfairph, housing a lecture theater for daily talks on art history, the art market, and current practices in contemporary art.  Art Fair Philippines teams up with the Ateneo Art Gallery to bring these conversations to fair visitors.”
