2nd Season Of Dr. Stone Set To Air In January Of 2021
Riichirou Inagaki's Manga Inspired Anime "Dr. Stone" To Receive A 2nd Season.
The 2nd Season of the popular anime series, “Dr. Stone,” based on a Manga by Riichirou Inagaki was announced right after the 1st Season finished airing. Titled as “Dr. Stone: Stone Wars” has been said to premiere in Japan in January of 2021 at the very earliest and is one of the most anticipated anime of 2021. Toho Animation released a Promotional Video teasing the Main characters Senkū, Chrome, and Gen, vowing to fight against Tsukasa.
The Anime Adaptation of “Dr. Stone” was handled by TMS Entertainment, with the Director for the anime as Shinya Iino. The Series Composition and Script Writing was done by Yuichiro Kido, and finally, the Character Designs were taken care of by Yuko Iwasa. The anime series has been licensed by Crunchyroll and was streamed outside of Japan as well.
Since the 1st Season had a total of 24 episodes, most likely, the 2nd Season will be having about the same number of episodes. The 2nd Season will be more focused on the Stone War arc from the manga and hence the name of the title, “Dr. Stone: Stone Wars.”

Yūsuke Kobayashi (Known for voicing the role of Subaru Natsuki from Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World) will be voicing the character of Senku Ishigami.
Makoto Furukawa (Known for voicing the role of Saitama from One Punch Man) will be voicing the character of Taiju Oki.
Kana Ichinose (Known for voicing the role of Ichigo from Darling in the Franxx) will be voicing the character of Yuzuriha Ogawa.
Yuichi Nakamura (Known for voicing the role of Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tale) will be voicing the character of Tsukasa Shishio.
Dr. Stone Where Is It Now?
Written and illustrated by Riichirou Inagaki, “Dr. Stone”, is a Japanese Manga series that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen JUMP back on the 6th of March 2017. The Manga currently has a total of 16 volumes released and is still going strong.
On a certain day following a blinding flash of light, the entire Human civilisation has been turned to stone statues. After over a millennia passes by thus effectively wiping out all traces of Human existence off the surface of the planet, during this time a High Schooler, Senku Ishigami, wakes up and breaks out of the stone statue mold in which he had been stuck for so long.
After finding out all his friends and humanity, in general, has been turned into statues, he decides to find a solution for it. It so happens that Senku is a science genius, and thus, after months of trying to find a solution, he has his first big breakthrough when he discovers that Nitric Acid is needed to dissolve the stone mold. Senku comes up with an interesting and ambitious target of kick-starting Human civilization through the power of science.
